Hi everyone,

Due to COVID-19, the Ontario Numismatic Association will be hosting its first virtual convention on Zoom.

It will be held from Friday, April 9th to Sunday, April 11th, 2021 and each event in the convention will have its own meeting link.  The convention is free and is open to everyone.

The Educational Symposium will be held on Saturday, April 10th and Sunday, April 11th, and there will be two speakers each day.  I have been invited to be one of the speakers and I will be making my presentation on April 10th at 2 p.m. Eastern Time, 11 a.m. Pacific Time.

TOPIC: THE OCCUPATION OF HONG KONG AND THE LIFE OF A VETERAN: In a 15-year project focusing on his family history, Mike is using currency and stamps to tell the story of his late father, who was a veteran of the Battle of Hong Kong. Mike’s family history has been published in both the Canadian Coin News and the Canadian Stamp News.
