Hi everyone,
The next North Shore Numismatic Society’s Zoom Meeting is on Tuesday, February 15th 2022. You can sign onto Zoom at 6:30 pm (Pacific Time), 9:30 pm (Eastern Time) and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm (Pacific Time), 10 pm (Eastern Time). It is open to both members and non-members, so everyone is welcome.
Following the Annual General Meeting and Elections above, we will continue with our program.
Program: Our guest speaker is Joseph Boling, co-author of the book “World War II Remembered”. Joe is going to present Part 2 of his PowerPoint on “Banknotes Made To Deceive Collectors”. The notes to be shown are ones that are replicas intended to sell to collectors, not to circulate (made years after the originals). In a few cases they might have been created for legitimate reasons (movie props, tourist souvenirs) but now appear in dealer’s stocks as originals. Please join us for this informative and interesting presentation.
