This is a reminder that the next North Shore Numismatic Society’s meeting is next Tuesday, November 8th. (Please note that meetings are now on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.) The meetings are now being held at the Bonsor 55+ Senior Centre, 6533 Nelson Avenue in Burnaby across the parking lot from the Main Building and we will be meeting in the Multipurpose Room upstairs. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the meeting starts at 7:00 pm. It is open to both members and non-members, so everyone is welcome. Here is the Google Map link:

Announcements – Tuesday, December 13th is our Christmas meeting and annual Pandora’s Box Draw. Please bring some finger foods to share with other members and a $15 wrapped gift for the Pandora’s Box Draw. Only paid-up members are eligible to participate in the Draw. More details will be provided at the meeting and in a subsequent email.
Program: I will present a PowerPoint on “English Milled Gold Coins”. This presentation was prepared by P. Frank Purvey in 1972 and covers the milled gold coins from 1558 to 1953. We would like to thank the London Numismatic Society and the Ontario Numismatic Association for sharing this presentation.
