This June meeting will be the last meeting before we break for the summer. There will be no Zoom meetings in July or August. If our venue re-opens in September, the club will try hosting hybrid meetings.
The next North Shore Numismatic Society’s Zoom Meeting is on Tuesday, June 21st. You can sign onto Zoom at 6:30 pm (Pacific Time), 9:30 pm (Eastern Time) and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm (Pacific Time), 10 pm (Eastern Time). It is open to both members and non-members, so everyone is welcome.

Program: I will present a PowerPoint on “English Silver Crowns”. The presentation covers English crowns from 1551 to 1965. This PowerPoint was created by the London Numismatic Society and shared through the Ontario Numismatic Association. We thank them for creating this program and sharing it with us.

With respect to the first 7 lots of Proof-like Sets, they are being offered in groups of 5 different years. All sets include the original envelope and C.O.A. from the Mint. Each lot of 5 can be bought at the reserve price shown. If the lot does not sell, any set within the lot will be open to offers. Just email your offer to balmoralnu@shaw.ca, quoting the year and your bid, and Lynn Balmer will reply as soon as possible.
Pre-auction bids are welcome on all items prior to the auction, but all will be put on auction. If you would like to place a pre-auction bid on an item, please send an email to Lynn Balmer at balmoralnu@shaw.ca. At the conclusion of the auction, it is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to make arrangements to finalize the transaction.
I am accepting items from the membership to complement this auction. If you would like to submit an item, please send me a picture of the obverse and reverse of the item, a description, the value and reserve, if any.
