This is a reminder that the next Coins, Stamps, & Collectibles Show hosted by the North Shore Numismatic Society is next Saturday, June 2nd.  The show is held in the Exhibit Hall of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby, 4 km east of Metrotown. Our  Christmas coin is a bronze follis of Constantine the Great, Emperor of Rome under whose aegis Christianity was at last legitimized and Christmas was first recorded as being celebrated – in Rome on December 25th of the year AD 336 (as is the customary date for many).
