Pandora’s Box! Christmas Club Meeting – Tuesday Dec 15th at Bonsor

This is a reminder that the NSNS Christmas meeting is on Tuesday, December 15th at the Bonsor Recreation Centre.  The meeting starts at 7pm and is in Multipurpose Room #2 upstairs.  The highlight is our annual Pandora’s Box Draw.

If you would like participate in the Pandora’s Box Draw, please note that you must be a paid-up member of the club.  You can join the club at the meeting for $15 and partake in the draw, and if your membership is approved, it will be extended to the end of 2016.

To participate, you should bring a wrapped numismatic gift worth $15 or more or buy a pre-wrapped gift for $15 at the meeting (please note that I only have 6 pre-wrapped gifts for sale).   The gift is placed in Pandora’s Box and in return, you will receive a numbered ticket.  Please note that husband and wife memberships need only bring or buy one (1) gift and can only receive one (1) draw ticket. Numbers will be drawn randomly and if your number is drawn, you will be eliminated from winning the contents of the Box.  The holder of the last un-drawn ticket wins the contents of the Box.  The winner must then open up all his presents at the meeting.   This year, the club is again contributing four 1 ounce Silver Maple Leaf Coins to Pandora’s Box with a value of $100.

There will be refreshments at the meeting and you can participate by bringing some finger foods to share with your fellow collectors.  If you are going to bring something, please email me so I can determine what else is needed that evening.  In addition, we will have our usual auction and door prize draw.  Your friends and family are welcome.

Also, please bring items for the floor submission auction.  Limit is 5 items per person.

To facilitate your purchases from the auction, please bring loonies, toonies and SMALL bills ($5s and $10s) to pay for your items.  I only bring a limited amount of money and it is difficult to make change for a $50 bill for a $7 purchase.  Thank you for your cooperation.
